Download PlayerPal 3.5 (1.26 MB) You need a trial or full license too.
PlayerPal is a remote control for Windows Media Player and a beta of the latest version 3.5 is out now! It has a bunch of new things you can read about below. Or you can go ahead and download it.
If you have an existing full or trial license it will work with this version. Skin writers read this
New PlayerPal music library browser
Browse you music library by artist, genre, year or album art. You can also sort alphabetically or by most/least albums. Play a whole browse category (e.g. Rock) or drill down and play selected albums and tracks. Perfect for you and your friends to browse your mighty music collection.

The RANDOMIZER (said in 1950s sci-fi movie voice)
Too much music and no idea what to play? If you're feeling lucky you could press the RANDOMIZER button (it's the question mark link) to get a random selection of tracks or albums.
This advanced technology is operated by some pigeons recruited from Google (they left after being excluded from the stock option program).
Help files are at hand
A new help link appears at the bottom of each page. Click this to see help related to the page you are on.
Expand album tracks in search results
PlayerPal has gone retro and re-instated the album drill down in the search results. Saves you getting sent off to the track search, which was a bit confusing. It's also an excuse to use those dinky little plus signs.
Graphics updated for the Sony PSP
All bitmaps have been replaced with JPEGS or GIFS. This was done to improve Sony PSP browser support.
PlayerPal test bed extended to MCE and Windows 2003
Isn't it annoying when you download a good looking program and it doesn't work? While one can never guarantee a bug free program, at PlayerPal towers the best is done to ship a quality tested product. To help with this the laboratory test bed has been extended to include Windows 2003 and Windows Media Center. Automated cross browser (Firefox and IE) test coverage has also been extended.
New logo!
The last PlayerPal logo was a little bit 70s disco. Fine if you're a big fan of Boney M, but not so great for the cutting edge digital media dude/dudess. Enter the square, minimal, modern replacement.
PlayerPal remembers your last browse and search settings
PlayerPal now remembers what you last searched for (tracks or albums) what you last browsed for and how you like it sorted. Hopefully by remembering more about what you do you'll learn to love PlayerPal a little bit more everyday. Ahhh.
PlayerPal is still THE Windows Media Player Remote control
PlayerPal controls Windows Media Player 9 and 10 from any web browser. Subscribe to the PlayerPal blog and be the first to hear about the launch of new versions.
