Church use PlayerPal for controlling lobby and hold music

I'm always interested in how PlayerPal gets used out in the wild.  One increasingly common scenario is the use of PlayerPal to control waiting room or lobby music.  The browser interface makes it easy for employees to change the music easily from many locations, and the fact that PlayerPal runs as a service makes it attractive to the overworked IT admin!

The Faith Baptist Church are doing this and using it to control the music you hear when on hold.  They sent me the following details...

"We use a Panasonic DBS phone system but for hold music I have an old PC running your program [PlayerPal] connected to it.  Then I load various MP3's onto it and using your program I can leave it run with the computer logged out since your program runs as a service.

A side benefit is we also have the same computer hooked up to our lobby music as well so I can control it all from a single computer from literally anywhere in the world.  Before I found your program I was using Windows Media Player but I had to leave the computer locked and when I had to change messages or change to holiday music I had to visit the actual machine since I could not remote desktop to an already locked machine.   Your program works great for this purpose."
