How do I install PlayerPal?

The PlayerPal installation program gives you the choice to control Windows Media Player or iTunes.  PlayerPal only works on Windows XP.

Things to do before you install PlayerPal:

iTunes users:  Make sure you have iTunes 4.7 or later installed and some music in your iTunes library.

Windows Media Player users:  Make sure you have Windows Media Player 9 or later installed, and some music in your Windows Media Player library.

To install PlayerPal do the following:

1. If you don't have .NET 1.1, download it and install it
2. Download PlayerPal to the PC containing the music player you want to control
   
3. Double click the downloaded file
4. Follow the simple on-screen instructions

The installer automatically configures Windows XP SP2 firewalls.  If you are using a different firewall you will need to add playerpal.exe as an exclusion or it will not work.
