HowTo: Resolve a licensing error

If you get the following error message...

The license file contents are invalid (techy details are as follows: The process cannot access the file "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\PlayerPal\playerpal.lic" because it is being used by another process.).

...do this:

  1. Open Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Services
  2. Restart "PlayerPal Web Server"
  3. Restart "PlayerPal Server"

This is a known issue and will be fixed in a future release.  Thanks for your patience.
