“Superb piece of software. I even went out and bought a PSP last night, just to put it on! Excellent. What more can I say?”
Nick, PlayerPal customer

“I started to use PlayerPal 4.2 on PSP this week to control iTunes via Apple Airport Express. It’s a great product and well worth $20.”

“Thanks for your extremely swift response.  What a brilliant piece of software!  I'm using at as an iTunes/Airtunes remote with my PSP and I think it's just about the coolest application I've seen for ages.  I'm an ASP.net developer and I'd been thinking about trying to write something simillar, thankfully I don't have to!”

“I have a dedicated Windows PC running Windows Media Player that acts as a media server for my entertainment system.  The sound is piped throughout the house.  I’ve been looking for a way to remote control the playlist / music selection.  PlayerPal fit my needs perfectly.  I can control the system from any pc in the house, and also from my wireless PocketPC.  The interface is easy to use and works flawlessly.”

“Looks cool in front of friends!”

"I use PlayerPal on my PC to control my 90Gig music collection. I take my wireless speaker and my smartphone out to the terrace and I have instant control over all of my music. I can search for specific songs, shuffle my entire library, or build custom playlists. PlayerPal never crashes or slows down even though my music library is big enough to cripple most full-sized jukebox applications. Now I can take and control all my music, anywhere in my house. I've used at least 5 other applications that claim to do the same thing, but nothing works as well as PlayerPal!"

“Love what you are doing with this program. I am totally impressed.  Other programs have a lot of fluff that just makes it harder to use the software for what i want to use it for and that is a remote.”
Evan, via email
“This seems to the program I was waiting for.”

“PlayerPal and AirTunes - Will Change your Life

For some time I have been looking at the Sonos and other home audio systems for streaming music off itunes from my computer, to other rooms in the house. The Airport Express is a simple elegant solution with (at least to my mind) a glaring problem. If I am streaming music from the den (with my computer) to my upstairs bedroom, basement or kitchen over the Airport Express, there is no easy way for me to control the music, change to the next song etc....Until now.

I recently got a PSP as a gift from someone and was trolling through the internet to see if I could find some way of controlling itunes with my PSP. I then found Playerpal. With this program running on my desktop, I can access my entire itunes library over my PSP and have full control over what song plays over my airport express. As long as my computer is on, I can even initiate itunes and select an album (with full cover art on the PSP!) to play using my PSP. While I am still exploring this program, I encourage many of you to check it out. It breathes new life into the Airport Express and provides a quasi-Sonos type experience at a fraction of the cost. (Ok, maybe not fair to compare it to Sonos, but you know what I mean.)”
