To use PlayerPal you need to open a browser and type in the PlayerPal address. This address takes the form http://ip_address_of_the_pc_you_installed_it_on:9999/. To find out how to do this read the following instructions.
- Make sure PlayerPal is running on your music PC. If it is you should see the blue icon in the Windows tray. It looks like this...
- To open PlayerPal on this PC double click the icon and it will launch in your default browser.
- To open PlayerPal on another PC or device on your network you need to know the IP address of the PlayerPal PC and type the address into the browser. You can see the address by hovering your mouse over the PlayerPal tray icon. If you have more than one IP address they will all be displayed.
You should now have PlayerPal open in your browser. What you do from here depends on which skin you selected. The BigBrowser skin and PDA Classic skin both have help files to show you what to do.
